Special notes about the scope of this site
The objectives section of this site state that it is designed to promote the history of Florida relating to the original Florida Railroad, and for profit through the sale of items related to the Florida Railroad.Since the railroads were and are transportation systems, there were naturally many other railroads, related industries and interests that they all served. Therefore, the history sections of this site include's pictures, stories and information for the other railroads and related industries as well.
Another important point to note is that much of the source of this information is from my own family's history and records. I want to make it clear that this site, its content, and the new incorporation, is not an endeavor intended to promote my own self esteem. Some of the text and references may appear to be so, and may seem to be overly personal, however, I assure you that is not the case.
I am simply very proud of my Florida Heritage, my family's part in it, and want to share that information with all who may be interested.
