The Florida East Coast Railroad initiated service from Key West to Havana in Feb. 1915. They eventually had three railroad car ferries: the Henry M. Flagler, the Joseph R. Parrott and the Estrada Palma. The US port moved to Port Everglades after the 1935 hurricane wiped out the tracks to Key West.
